Rattlesnakes

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum offers a wealth of information about desert wildlife and ecology. I have found the extensive resource titled “Reptile & Amphibian Accounts” to be fascinating, accurate and informative.

Encounters with rattlesnakes have inspired numerous memorable essays and articles. I have quoted in my post from chapter 3 of Charles Bowden’s narrative work titled “Some of the Dead Are Still Breathing”.  Another interesting discovery was found in an anonymous blog essay titled “Love, God and Rattlesnakes“.
