The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum offers a wealth of information about desert wildlife and ecology. I have found the extensive resource titled “Reptile & Amphibian Accounts” to be fascinating, accurate and informative.

Encounters with rattlesnakes have inspired numerous memorable essays and articles.
